A lifelong quest
Some good ideas come suddenly, on a hunch. That's not the story behind a New Theory of Gravitation though. This theory is the result of a search for answers that started decades ago.
For as long as he can remember, Bob Hoogenboom has wondered about the mechanism behind gravitation. In his search for information, he found out that no scientist was able to give a satisfying answer to this straightforward question: How does gravitation work?
Of course, we have very good insights into the implications of gravitation, provided by scientists like Newton. But what causes one object to be attracted towards another object, remains a mystery.
